Episode #20: Bobby Jackson is a 12yr NBA veteran and serves as the Player Development Coach of the Sacramento Kings. He established the Bobby Jackson Foundation in 2004 that is still running strong supporting the Sacramento community and has the Bobby Jackson Basketball Academy which will open in January. Bobby is humble, transparent and a class act. This episode is full of fun stories about his playing days in the NBA, to lessons he has taught his 5 amazing kids. Bio:
Bobby Jackson is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He serves as the Player Development Coach of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. Bobby attended University of Minnesota before being selected by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1997 NBA draft.
He was traded to the Denver Nuggets prior to his rookie season where he played 68 games before moving on to a more familiar place in Minnesota where he donned a Timberwolves jersey for two seasons.
He had his best years in Sacramento where he played for the Kings where he was known as "Action Jackson" and a crowd favorite. Bobby eventually retired from the Kings on October 24, 2009 then later became an assistant coach for the team.
He currently lives in Roseville, CA with his beautiful family.
