Jason's Bio:
Jason Avery is an Entrepreneur with a career that has focused on a lean startup model. Most recently starting Glam Lab Makeup Studios with his wife Golriz which started with an Idea and a $500 investment to 7 years later being a nationally recognized beauty education provider with around a 5 Million dollar market valuation.
Previously he launched Executive Boutique which was grown to 1.1 Million in annual sales and a Real Estate Investment firm that was grown to $4.5 Million in assets before the 2008 crash that left him and his company bankrupt. A career full of ups and downs, "its been a learning process" Jason states.
The #1 thing he now focuses on is his use of time, "When I was younger, impressing people is what motivated me, which didn't lead to happiness. I now like to benchmark my success by how I'm balancing my life. My family is #1 and if I can do what I love and have the time to be with my family, that is a WIN to me!".

She is the Co-Founder of Glam Lab Makeup Studios and the C.O.O of Glam Lab Cosmetics. Her career began 29 years ago in front of the camera in the fashion industry in New York. After a few years into her modeling career she quickly shifted careers to more creative roles, utilizing her training and connections with some of the best & most high-profile in the industry. She has continued a career in the industry that spans over 26 years and has mentored countless artists to success. Golríz is world-renowned as having revolutionized professional Makeup, Beauty & Image Education and has been an innovator within the professional cosmetics industry.
Her background as a model, artist, and designer combined with her experience and business acumen allows her to bring unparalleled creative and branding strategy, all of which have been one of the major keys of growth for Glam Lab Makeup Studios.
